Magnetic Separator

The magnetic separator is suitable for wet magnetic separation of materials such as magnetite, pyrrhotite calcined ore, and Qinshan iron ore with a particle size of less than 3mm. It is also used for iron removal operations of materials such as coal, non-metallic minerals, and building materials. According to user needs, various forms of magnetic separators can be provided, such as forward flow, semi reverse flow, and reverse flow. The surface magnetic field strength of the cylinder can be specially made according to actual applications.

Working principle

The slurry enters the machine trough through the ore box, and under hydraulic action, the churning slurry enters the sorting area. Under the strong force of the magnetic field, strong magnetic minerals are adsorbed on the surface of the cylinder and rotate to the concentrate discharge port. After separating from the magnetic system, they are discharged into the concentrate box with the help of clean water. Under the action of the slurry flow in the tank, gangue and weak magnetic minerals enter the discharge pipe in the opposite direction of the cylinder rotation.
