Product Overview
Thickener is suitable for dewatering concentrate and tailings in mineral processing plants, increasing the slurry content from 20-30% to around 40-70%. This high-efficiency thickener is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemical industry, coal, non-metallic mineral processing, and environmental protection.
Working principle
The thickener is solid-liquid separation equipment relying on gravity sedimentation. It thickens feed slurry of 10%–20% solid content into underflow slurry with 45%–55% solid content by gravity settling. Driven by the slowly rotating rake assembly (1/3 ~ 1/5 r/min) inside the tank, the thickened underflow slurry is discharged from the underflow outlet at the bottom of the thickener.
