Impulse (Pelton) Turbinegenerator Unit

Pelton (Impulse) turbinegenerator unit is impulsetype hydropower unit. Unit output ranges from 50 kW to 500 MW, applicable for net head of 303000 m, suited for diversiontype hydropower stations with high head and mediumsmall discharge. The runner rotates inside the runner chamber under atmospheric pressure. Pressurized water passage and highpressure sealing structure are not required, neither is downstream draft tube. Civilwork investment is only a fraction of that for other turbine types, with minor disturbance to original natural environment. Complete CJ22series technical datasheet is available, covering head, discharge, rotating speed, power output, efficiency and matching models for generator, governor and valves for completeset project selection.

Bulbturbinegenerator Unit(Revised Standard Version)

The bulb tubular hydro-generator unit is a horizontal tubular hydroelectric unit, primarily applied in run-of-river hydropower stations with low heads (below 25m) and large flow rates. The generator is completely sealed and positioned upstream of the turbine, housed within a bulb-shaped metal casing. The main shaft of the generator is directly connected in-line with the main shaft of the turbine runner. Water flows axially into the unit, passes tangentially through the blades, and discharges axially through a straight conical draft tube. The entire shaft system, guide bearings, and thrust bearings are all arranged inside the bulb casing. This design features a straight flow passage and excellent hydraulic performance.

Kaplan (Axialflow) Turbinegenerator Unit

The Francis turbine generator unit is a reaction type hydroelectric generating set (per IEC TR 61364 standard), the most widely adopted turbine solution for hydropower stations. Water flows radially into the runner circumference, turns downwards and discharges axially from the runner outlet. The flow drives the runner to rotate, converting hydraulic energy into mechanical energy, which further drives the generator to produce electric power. It is applicable for net head ranging from 20 m to 700 m.

Shaft-extension tubular hydro-generator unit (S-type tubular unit)

The S-type (shaft-extension tubular) turbine-generator unit is a reaction-type hydro-power unit for low-head conditions. It is applicable for net head of 2.5-18 m, runner diameter D₁ ≤ 3 m, and unit rated output up to 5 MW. The generator is arranged outside the bulb housing (outside water passage); the main shaft extends outward and various speed-increasing gear units are optional. Featuring simple structure, low capital investment and favourable economy, the unit allows convenient installation, inspection and maintenance, well-suited for small-and-medium-size run-of-river hydropower stations with low head and large discharge. A complete matching parameter table is provided for model selection of turbine, generator, governor, excitation device, valves and oil-pressure equipment.
